Yamuna Katuwal, Chairperson

Yamuna Katuwal is a passionate advocate for compassionate care, early intervention, and inclusive education. Her professional journey began in 2007 in the healthcare sector, where she developed a strong interest in creating care services that respond to the real needs of individuals and families.

In 2009, driven by the need for dignified and professional care for older adults, she established an elderly care home, becoming one of the pioneers in introducing organized elderly care services in Nepal. Her years of experience in elderly care gave her a deeper understanding of caregiving, rehabilitation, family support, and the importance of providing individuals with dignity, safety, and quality of life. As the Founder Chairperson, she continues to provide strategic leadership and vision toward building an institution where every child is understood, respected, supported, and allowed to reach their fullest potential. With nearly two decades of experience across healthcare, elderly care, early intervention, and special-needs education, her work is driven by one central belief:

“Every individual deserves care with dignity, and every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.”

Her vision is to build a sustainable and inclusive model of care and education in Nepal, one that brings together healthcare, therapy, education, family support, life skills, and community inclusion under one holistic approach.

Asmika Katuwal, Principal

Ms. Asmika Katuwal is a passionate social entrepreneur and advocate for compassionate care, inclusive education, and meaningful support for individuals across different stages of life. Her journey in the care sector began in 2013, with her involvement in elderly care and support services. Over the years, she developed a deep understanding of the importance of dignity, compassion, safety, and individualized care for older adults and their families.

In 2022, her journey expanded into the field of autism and special needs, where she began working closely with children with autism and their families. This experience helped her recognize the significant need for accessible, quality education, early intervention, therapy, life skills, and long-term support for children with developmental and special needs. Driven by this vision, Ms. Katuwal became actively involved in the establishment and development of the school, bringing together her experience in care, her understanding of families, and her commitment to creating an inclusive environment for children.

Her vision is to create a nurturing and inclusive educational ecosystem where education, therapy, life skills, family involvement, and care work together to help children become more independent, confident, and active members of society. With experience spanning more than a decade in care and social development, Ms. Katuwal believes that meaningful change begins with compassion and continues through commitment, collaboration, and action.

Ujjwal Sharma Sapkota, School Trustee

With over 35 years of experience in the media sector and social service, Mr. Ujjwal Sharma Sapkota has dedicated a significant part of his professional journey to communication, community engagement, and social development. Throughout his career in media, he has witnessed the changing needs of society and the importance of creating a more inclusive and compassionate community. His long-standing involvement in media and social work has strengthened his commitment to using his experience and influence for meaningful social causes.

His association with the school comes from a strong desire to contribute to the lives of children with special needs. He believes that every child, regardless of their abilities or challenges, deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, communicate, and participate meaningfully in society.

As a School Trustee, Mr. Sapkota brings valuable experience, social awareness, and a strong sense of responsibility toward building an inclusive educational environment. His vision is to support initiatives that promote quality education, early intervention, inclusion, dignity, independence, and equal opportunities for children with special needs.

Class Teachers

Class teachers lead daily instruction for each classroom. They plan lessons, track progress against each child’s learning goals, and adjust teaching methods based on what works for that group of children.

Behavioral Therapists

Our Behavioral Therapists design and oversee behavioral support programs for children across the school, working with teachers to ensure each child’s behavior plan is consistently followed in the classroom.

Occupational Therapists

Our Occupational Therapisst support children with sensory needs, fine motor skills, and daily living tasks, working closely with classroom teachers so therapy goals carry over into everyday learning.
